Man charged in overnight Green Bay shooting
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Indalesio Flores-Hernandez, 39, was charged Friday with attempted first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly shooting Cameron Bushmaker.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of S. Packerland Drive in Green Bay.
Bushmaker told police he was at his girlfriend’s house, when her ex-boyfriend -- Flores-Hernandez -- called the woman to say that his vehicle had broken down and he needed help. The two then went to where Flores-Hernandez was. Once there, Flores-Hernandez asserted he was still the woman's boyfriend. That’s when Flores-Hernandez opened fire.
“Cameron mentioned that he estimated he was shot approximately three times. Cameron noticed that he was shot in his left shoulder, right arm, and felt something graze his neck, assuming it was a bullet,” the complaint states.
The criminal complaint does not recite any formal interview with Flores-Hernandez, but blurted out “I’m not a bad guy” to an officer during transport to jail.
