Pedestrian struck and killed on I-41 in Fond du Lac County

UPDATE: The Fond du Lac man killed in the incident is identified by WI State Patrol as 29-year-old Jordan Damian King. The driver of the vehicle is identified as 45-year-old Rustam Toirovich Kasimov from Aurora, Colorado.

FOND DU LAC (WLUK) -- A 29-year-old Fond du Lac man died after being hit on I-41 north of State Highway 23.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says the incident happened just after 3 p.m. Saturday.

That's when a vehicle hit the 29-year-old Fond du Lac man who was a pedestrian.

It also says a 45-year-old Colorado man was driving a commercial vehicle.

State Patrol is investigating why the man was on the highway without a vehicle.

Names of those involved aren't being released at this time.
