RIPON, Wis. (WLUK) -- Fourteen people were displaced after a fire at a Ripon apartment complex.

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. Monday at the Valley Crest Apartments on Douglas Street.

One resident was treated at the scene.

The apartment building has significant damage, with seven units affected. The Red Cross assisted residents with finding places to stay last night, according to the building manager.

If you wish to donate items such as clothes and blankets for those displaced, Culvers and The Red Cross are asking residents to wait until next week as they have been overwhelmed by donations already.
