Fire damages Brown Co. farmhouse

TOWN OF GREEN BAY - A fire caused extensive damage to the outside of a farmhouse, New Franken firefighters say.Crews were called to 5861 Van Lanen Rd. in the town of Green Bay around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after a person passing by called to report seeing fire outside the house. When firefighters arrived, they saw fire on the east side of the house.No one was home at the time and no one was hurt fighting the fire.Firefighters are still working to figure out how the fire started.
