UPDATE: Officials identify the body found inside the apartment as 46-year-old Tammy Aschenbach.

______________

PLYMOUTH (WLUK) -- Officials say they have found the body of a person inside an apartment in Plymouth after a fire, WITI-TV reported.

A woman previously reported missing was identified as Tammy Aschenbach. Officials have not confirmed that the body that was found in the building is, in fact, that of Aschenbach.

The fire broke out before 1 a.m. Thursday at a three-story apartment building near Division Street and Mill Street in Plymouth. That's in the city's downtown.

Buildings on both sides were evacuated.

Every fire department in Sheboygan County was on the scene. Other counties also assisted.

The scene has been turned over to the state fire marshal's office for investigation.
