FOND DU LAC (WLUK) – The man police described as the ringleader of a cocaine distribution ring was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Danny Andrews was convicted of conspiracy to manufacture and deliver cocaine, and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was also placed on extended supervision for ten years at Thursday’s sentencing hearing, court records show.
Andrews and Nicole Cassola allegedly were in charge of a cocaine ring which sold more than 120 pounds of drugs valued at nearly $10 million across the Fond du Lac area between July 2017 and April 2018, police and prosecutors say.
Cassola returns to court March 22, where she is expected to plead out in her case. She faces two cocaine delivery charges.
Fourteen others were also charged in the case.
