TOWN OF WEYAUWEGA (WLUK) -- A motorcycle driver had to be found with a heat-seeking drone camera after a crash early Saturday morning in Waupaca County.

At about 2:41 a.m., first responders from the Weyauwega Area Fire Department were called to the intersection of U.S. Highway 10 and County Highway U for a report of a motorcycle crash involving a deer.

When they arrived, first responders searched the area, but couldn't find the driver.

Weyauwega Area firefighters used their drone and thermal-imaging camera to find heat signatures, and found the driver by some large round hay bales in a neighboring field after about 20 minutes.

They say they carried the driver from the field to the highway.
