Driver charged in Oshkosh hit and run
OSHKOSH (WLUK) - Justin Linzmeyer was charged Wednesday allegedly crashing into a motorcycle last week, injuring two.
He faces two counts each of hit and run causing great bodily harm, and injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
A $50,000 cash bond was set for Linzmeyer in Winnebago County court Wednesday afternoon.
Linzmeyer, 31, was driving a SUV when he turned in front a motorcycle. The vehicles collided, and Linzmeyer left the scene police said.
The people on the motorcycle – a 32-year-old Appleton man, and a 27-year-old Oshkosh woman – were taken to the hospital with what police described as “severe injuries.”
Linzmeyer will return to court Nov. 2 for a preliminary hearing, court records show.
