TOWN OF BUCHANAN (WLUK) -- Six people were injured, five seriously, in a crash east of Kaukauna.

The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened just before noon at the intersection of highways GG and Z. A vehicle headed north on GG did not stop at the intersection and hit a pickup truck going west on Z.

Five juveniles were in the northbound vehicle. Four had to be cut out using the jaws of life. All five were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 24-year-old woman from Plainfield, was also taken to the hospital. She is expected to survive.

The intersection was closed for about three hours after the crash.

Officials are still investigating.
