GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The new bridge lights downtown Green Bay will be lit up for Thursday night's Packers game.

But if you see the Walnut Street bridge, Packers fans may not be happy.

On Thursday, the bridge will be displaying red, blue and yellow for the colors displayed on the Pittsburgh Steelers' helmets.

Steve Grenier, director of Green Bay Public Works. says the bridge lights are a way to welcome fans of all teams to the area.

"That's one of the things Green Bay is known for across the league, is that welcoming attitude and making the other teams feel welcomed, so we want to extend that through the downtown on behalf of the city. We want to make sure we welcome the team and their fans," Grenier said.

The Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge will be lit green and gold.

The Walnut Street Bridge lights are expected to light up with Packers' opponent colors for each game of the remaining season.
