TOWN OF DOTY (WLUK) -- A campground in Oconto County that has been closed because of concerns about a neighbor's behavior is now set to open later this month.

The U.S. Forest Service says the Boulder Lake Campground will open May 24.

"The previous concerns the Forest Service had have subsided," the Forest Service said in a news release.

The campground was closed last year, with the Forest Service citing "safety concerns." The Oconto County Sheriff's Dept. investigated Karl Klimes, who lives next to the campground, for holding target practice on his property. While no charges were filed for those incidents, Klimes has since been charged with crimes in three separate Wisconsin counties.
