BEAVER DAM (WLUK) -- Officials are releasing the name of the Beaver Dam police officer who shot a man during a domestic incident last month.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says Officer Brian Linzenmeyer is a 17-year-old veteran on the force. He is on non-disciplinary administrative leave until the investigation is complete.

Deputies say Linzenmeyer shot 35-year-old Richard Henke II of Beaver Dam in one of his legs during the Oct. 26 incident.

No officers were shot during the altercation but one officer did receive minor injuries.
