GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Bay Beach Amusement Park has identified the next ride it wants to purchase: the “NebulaZ.”

The 32-passenger ride features four rotating beams, with 4 passengers on the end of each arm. Three tickets (75 cents total) would be required to ride, with a minimum rider height of 42 inches.

The $775,000 ride would be purchased from Zamperla. It is used, although city documents do not indicate where it was operated. It was constructed in 2019 and recently refurbished.

The city projects it would recover the purchase price within five years of operation.

If approved, installation would happen next spring. Documents with the agenda do not indicate where in the park it would be located.

The City Council’s Parks Committee reviews the proposal at its meeting Wednesday, before it goes to the full council.

The park removed two rides earlier this year -- the Bay Beast and Falling Star -- due to maintenance woes.
