GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- People in Green Bay got to enjoy a day of craft beer sampling Saturday, all for a good cause.
The Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay campus hosted its second annual "Barkin Beer Fest."
Held at Badger State brewing, attendees were able to sample craft beers from a variety of local breweries.
Marketing Coordinator Lori Nachtwey shares why fundraisers like this, mean so much.
"All the proceeds that we're making here like on the raffles and the ticket sales and things like that, all that is coming to the Wisconsin Humane Society. You know, fundraisers like this basically they help keep our doors open," she said.
Nachtwey says the humane society Green Bay campus saw over 5,500 animals come through the doors just last year.
