MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- Living on the south-side of Manitowoc for more than 10 years, David Holt says he's seen some changes.

“Lived off 15th Street for a while now," explained Holt.

Holt says the area has seen quite a few drug related incidents, "It’s been pretty bad the last couple of years."

It's on the 700 block of 15th Street that police say three men broke into a home Sunday.

Authorities say one of the men pointed a gun at a resident, and robbed him at around 11:00 p.m.

"The initial investigators learned that three suspects entered the residence. One of the suspects pointed what appeared to be a black handgun," said Capt. Jason Freiboth.

He says the men stole several items, including a video game console.

Freiboth says the suspects were last seen running away from the home near Clark Street, "Two suspects had their faces covered, one of the suspects had part of their face exposed, that is one of the leads our detectives are following up on."

Authorities say it's unclear if the victim, and the suspects knew each other but say they do believe the residence was targeted.

"I don't think anyone else in the neighborhood would be a risk." explained Freiboth.

As for Holt, he explained what he's still hopeful for, "Things to get better, better neighborhoods."

Police have only a limited description of the robbers.

Police say all three suspects were described as black males wearing dark clothing, and approximately 16-20 years of age.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact the Manitowoc Police Department Shift Commander at (920)686-6551 or Crime Stoppers at (920) 683-4465.
