Appleton man charged in multi-county police chase

WASHINGTON COUNTY (WLUK) -- The Appleton man who was arrested after a multi-county police chase was in court Tuesday for his initial appearance.

Police say 25 year-old Adam Piotrowski led police on a high-speed chase Monday that hit speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.

Officials said the vehicle Piotrowski was driving was reported stolen from Oshkosh.

The chase went thru Fond du Lac, Dodge, and Washington counties.

It ended with the suspect in police custody in Washington County.

Police say he went through two stop-sticks during the chase.

He was charged with two felonies: first-degree recklessly endangering safety and eluding an officer.
