Animals killed in Door County barn fire

BRUSSELS (WLUK) -- Two horses and some cats died in a barn fire in Door County.

The fire happened at 8878 School Road in the Town of Brussels around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, crews say the barn was fully engulfed in flames.

Fire officials say three other horses were able to make it out of the barn safely.

It took crews about five hours to completely put the fire out.

The barn is a total loss.
