APPLETON (WLUK) -- A man and woman returned to a Menards store with a BB gun after being asked to leave for 'suspicious activity', according to the Appleton Police Department.

The 27-year-old man and 20-year-old woman came back to the store around 1:46 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials say the two drove a U-Haul truck and shot out a panel of glass in the front doors of the business.

Originally, calls were made to the police reporting a drive-by shooting.

Police say they are requesting disorderly conduct and damage to property charges against the two.
