APPLETON (WLUK) -- Dozens of puppies coming from overcrowded shelters have arrived in the Fox Valley to find their forever homes.

The Fox Valley Humane Association says 42 puppies were transported from the south to its shelter Tuesday.

The puppies are a variety of mixed-breeds of all shapes and sizes.

You can meet the puppies at PetSmart in Grand Chute on N Westhill Blvd and in Ashwaubenon on Pilgrim Way, Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Since taking in the puppies, the shelter says it is in need of dry dog food donations. The shelter is offering a 10 percent discount on adoption fees in exchange for a less than 20 pound dry food donation. If you donate more than 20 pounds, you get 20 percent off. Discounts will apply all month long. Purina and Iams brands are preferred.
