2 injured, road closed after Waupaca Co. crash
TOWN OF BEAR CREEK (WLUK) -- Two people were injured and one was airlifted to a hospital after their vehicles collided on Saturday morning in the town of Bear Creek.
The crash closed U.S. Hwy. 45 for about an hour, and traffic was re-routed through nearby Bear Creek and Sugar Bush.
At about 9:32 a.m., the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office was called to the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 45 and Blueberry Road, where there were two vehicles that crashed.
Officers determined that a vehicle going north on Hwy. 45 was turning left onto Blueberry Road when a vehicle going south on Hwy. 45 collided with it.
A 58-year-old Gresham man had to be removed from his vehicle before being airlifted to the hospital and a 49-year-old Oshkosh man was taken by ambulance to the a hospital.
