2 found dead in Oconto Co. house fire
TOWN OF LENA (WLUK) -- The bodies of two people were found at the scene of a house fire in Oconto County Tuesday.
Sheriff's officials say firefighters were called to Beschta Lane in the Town of Lena just before 3:30 a.m. A caller reported a manufactured home was on fire.
Lena firefighters found the house engulfed in flames when they arrived. It was believed the people who lived in the house were home and did not get out.
As they were putting the fire out, firefighters found one person's body next to the house. They later found a second body inside the house.
The fire has been ruled suspicious, and the state fire marshal's office has been called in to help investigate. The Oconto County Fire Task Force and medical examiner's office are also helping in the investigation.
