Mike Gallagher talks primary victory on Good Day Wisconsin

ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- The winner of Tuesday's 8th Congressional District Republican primary was in the Good Day Wisconsin studio Wednesday morning.

Mike Gallagher, a 32-year-old Marine veteran from Green Bay, easily defeated State Sen. Frank Lasee and Terry McNulty.

FOX 11 asked Gallagher about his victory, what he expects in the general election, how he could work across the aisle and about trade.

Gallagher's opponent in November is Democrat Tom Nelson. Nelson is currently the Outagamie County Executive. He faced no primary opposition.
