GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Green Bay's city clerk is suing the state to try and stop in-person voting on April 7 over COVID-19 concerns.

A temporary restraining order and lawsuit filed Tuesday also calls for absentee voting to be canceled.

Court documents show the city wants to mail ballots to all registered voters.

It has also requested to extend voter registration to May 1 with a deadline of June 2 to report results.
