Green Bay school board member resigning; board seeks applicants
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The Green Bay Area Public School District is looking for someone to hold a seat on the school board for the next few months.
Board member Julie Jansch has notified the district that she will be resigning her seat on the board as of Oct. 17. She says she is moving to De Pere, out of the Green Bay district.
Any eligible voter who lives in the Green Bay district may apply for the open seat. Information on how to apply is available on the district's website, or by contacting the board's secretary, Sandra Heller, by phone at (920) 448-2101 or by email at email@example.com.
The school board plans to appoint the member in November. The seat will be up for election next April 3, with the election winner taking office April 23.
