City and university police say the strong-armed robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Elmwood Avenue. The victim, a 19-year-old man, said two males in hooded sweatshirts came up to him and took several personal belongings. The robbers may have had a weapon, the victim said. The victim was not hurt.

Police said on Thursday that the robbery was a "targeted and isolated" crime and officers do not believe the public is in danger.
