FOX CROSSING (WLUK) -- An Oshkosh man is in jail after allegedly taking a young boy from Appleton and sexually assaulting him.
The Fox Crossing Police Department says the boy called 911 in the early morning of May 19, saying he was taken from Appleton and was at an unknown hotel in a Hyundai and needed help.
The Winnebago County Dispatch Center was able to determine the call was made from the Econo Lodge Hotel in Fox Crossing.
Officers arrived at the hotel and saw a vehicle leaving that matched the provided description.
Police then pulled the vehicle over, and the boy immediately left the car and ran back to the officers, say police.
The driver of the vehicle, Jordan R. Huffman, was arrested without incident.
Huffman, 52, was transported to Winnebago County Jail and held on a felony bail jumping charge.
After further investigation, Huffman was charged with first degree child sexual assault -- sexual contact with a child under 13, child enticement and additional counts of felony bail jumping.
Police say Huffman is currently on bond through Portage County for similar charges.
