KAUKAUNA (WLUK) -- A 22-year-old Kaukauna woman was arrested following an overnight fire at an apartment.

Kendra VandenBloomer was charged with arson Friday in Outagamie County court.

Firefighters were called to an apartment above Benchwarmers Bar and Grill, 701 Dodge St., around 10:30 p.m. Thursday for a fire.

According to the criminal complaint, VandenBloomer told authorities she got into an argument earlier in the day with the bar owner.

The complaint says VandenBloomer told investigators she was playing with the stove and lighting the boxes to microwavable dinners, on fire. It says she then threw the boxes on the floor.

The complaint also says VandenBloomer lit a bed pillow on fire and threw it on the living room floor.

Everyone inside the apartment and the bar got out safely. No one was hurt.

About $10,000 in damage was done to the carpet and personal items in the apartment. The bar was not damaged, and was able to reopen.

A cash bond was set for VandenBloomer at $35,000.
