(WLUK) -- U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin is one of two candidates on the ballot for U.S. Senate.

Baldwin was first elected to the Senate in 2012. Prior to that, she represented the Madison area in the U.S. House of Representatives, first being elected in 1998. Baldwin served in the state Legislature and Dane County Board before that.

Baldwin's website highlights her focus on having the government buy American-made products; health care access; reducing higher education costs; lowering prescription drug costs; improving health care and job opportunities for veterans; tax reform; reducing the influence of lobbyists; campaign finance reform; fighting the opioid epidemic; improving infrastructure; supporting the military and emergency responders; fair trade for farmers and manufacturers; protecting the environment; and preventing another financial crisis.
