Rosemary Pear Scones


3 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

5 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 Tbs finely chopped fresh rosemary

3/4 cups cold butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 egg

2 pears diced


In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and rosemary. Cut in the butter. In a separate bowl mix together the egg and heavy cream. Add the cream mixture to the dry ingredients and briefly mix. Work in the pears and knead briefly. Shape into a disc and cut 8 even sections. Bake at 350 ~15 min
