Lemony Popcorn


    6 cups white popcorn

    1 bag white chocolate chips

    2 tsp vegetable oil

    1 Tbs fresh lemon juice

    1/4 cup butter, melted

    1 Tbs cream or milk

    Splash vanilla extract

    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

    1 tsp lemon extract

    Yellow food coloring (if Desired)


    Pour the popcorn into a large bowl. In a small bowl, microwave the white chocolate chips in 30 second increments, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in the vegetable oil. Pour over the popcorn and and mix well.

    Spread the popcorn over a large piece of parchment or foil.

    In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, cream, vanilla and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined, then mix in the lemon extract and 1 or 2 drops of yellow food coloring, mixing well. Carefully drizzle over the popcorn and let sit until glaze hardens.
