Make Ahead French Toast:

5 eggs, lightly beaten

1 ½ cups milk

1 cup Half and Half

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 loaf French bread, cubed

½ cup butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp. maple syrup

1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions:

Place cubed bread in a greased 9” x 13” pan. Combine eggs, milk, Half and Half, and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, melt 1 stick of butter. Stir in brown sugar and maple syrup. Spread evenly over the bread. Top with chopped pecans if desired. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
