GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Vikings from all around will be gathering on Saturday for the Green Bay Viking Festival, going on from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on the UW-Green Bay campus. The event honors the history and culture of Scandinavia, and will include live battle reenactments, singing, storytelling, dance lesson, games, and other activities.
In addition, there will be guided tours of the Biking House on campus, all in hopes of offering folks a chance to better understand Viking culture. The event will take place near Wood Hall, and is free and open to the public.
Justin Steinbrinck spend the morning at UW-Green Bay getting a first-hand look at what folks can expect on Saturday.
