Preparing the snow plows at Brown County Public Works

Winter is coming, so Green Bay is getting ready early. Justin shows us how the snow plows are prepared (WLUK)

BROWN COUNTY (WLUK) -- As the first snowflakes of the season start to fly, many of us are preparation mode for the impending winter season, and that would include Brown County Public Works. Crews there are making the changeover from autumn to winter on the trucks by getting the plow installed, stockpiling road salt, and preparing and storing homemade brine to help with melting off the snow and ice on the roads.

This morning, Justin Steinbrinck spent some time at Brown County Public Works learning more about what it takes to prepare for the winter season, and some of the tips and tricks that can lead to all of us having a safer winter on area roads and highways.
