Got head lice? Green Bay woman opens lice treatment center
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- It's the dreaded note your kids will bring home from school: head lice has been detected. Now what? For some parents, the idea of tackling the pesky problem can be daunting. But a new business in Green Bay can help! Monica Veley recently opened the Bug-a-Boo Lice Treatment center on the city's west side. Veley, a licensed stylist, was recently trained and certified in lice removal. Veley joined us on Good Day Wisconsin to answer some of parents most common questions: 1. How do I prevent it? 2. How do I identify it? 3. How do I treat it? Veley also demonstrated how to prevent lice, how to do a proper head check, and talked about treatment methods.
Bug-A-Boo is holding it's Grand Opening celebration on Friday September 9th from 3pm-6pm and Saturday September 10th from 9am-12pm.
