Downtown YMCA renovation project updates
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- For the past four and a half months, the Downtown Green Bay YMCA has ungone a major renovation project.
In total, the project costs $13 million, which will cover updating a majoring of the existing building.
Some of the renovations that will take place include expanding a two-story wellness area, expanding the gymnastics center, increasing circulation and visibility with the construction of a center atrium, adding a family adventure zone and brand new locker rooms.
FOX 11's Lauren Kalil was live from the Y on Tuesday showing us some of the progress that has been made.
The entire project will take around 16 months, ending around August of 2017.
