OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- The Wisconsin Glo beat the St. Louis Surge 101-78 Sunday afternoon, opening the season with back-to-back wins.

Erika Davenport led the way for the Glo with 16 points.

The Glo beat the Surge Saturday night in the season opener, 84-68.

Taylor Wurtz led with 15 points in the opening win.

The strong start to the season comes under a new head coach, Kate Peterson Abiad.

"They're really versatile, they play really hard," said Peterson Abiad at Friday's media day. "They understand the game so well. It's sort of a dream team to work with. It's all the best from their time and they're doing a remarkable job, just getting back together as a unit and starting to really play well together."

"With such a competitive group and experienced group who has found so much success, I think that's always the goal to get a championship," said Kimberly native Frankie Wurtz. "We are super competitive and it will be fun to have a new group this year and new people. We have a new coaching staff as well so there will be a lot of challenges but we're excited.

The Glo's next game is Saturday, June 4 in Flint.
