Despite not getting picked in the NFL draft, both Menominee High School product Jacob Pedersen and Waupaca High School alum Brock Jensen signed with teams as undrafted free agents. Not long into the free agent process, a league source told FOX 11 that Pedersen, a tight end, would be signing with the Atlanta Falcons. The former Wisconsin Badger soon tweeted out confirmation."While it wasn't the way I planned it... Heading to Atlanta to play for the @Atlanta_Falcons!," Pedersen wrote on his Twitter account. "Couldn't be more blessed with the opportunity!"Pedersen will join former teammate Dez Southward on the Falcons. Atlanta did not draft a tight end after their starting tight end from last season, Tony Gonzalez, retired.Jensen, the former Waupaca quarterback who led North Dakota State to three straight FCS national championships, is signing with the Miami Dolphins, according to North Dakota State Athletics' Twitter account.
