GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers announced they have signed third-round draft pick defensive end Khyri Thornton to a contract, as the team continues to complete deals with this year's draft picks.

The team also announced the signing of three non-drafted free agents, including former Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla, who was rated as a top ten tight end talent in the draft, but was not selected.

Lyerla is considered a very athletic tight end, running a 4.62 40 yard dash at the combine. However, he has also had some off the field problems, leaving the Ducks program in October of last year due to personal reasons. He has a troubled past of drug charges which led to Lyerla being restricted to travel inside the state of Oregon.

The Packers also signed safety Charles Clay from Hawai'i and defensive end Luther Robinson out of Miami to contracts.

Packers training camp starts on Saturday, July 26.
