Packers send out reminders for shareholders' meeting

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers are expecting more than 12,000 people to attend the team's annual shareholders' meeting Thursday at Lambeau Field.Parking lots and ticket windows are scheduled to open at 8 a.m., with stadium gates opening at 9 a.m. The Miller Lite Gate on the north end, and the Oneida Nation and American Family Insurance gates on the east side will be open. Those who need wheelchair positions will be located on the east side of the stadium; they are asked to bring their own wheelchairs and use either the Miller Lite or Oneida Nation gates.Parking at Lambeau Field is free, but is expected to fill up quickly. Some neighbors may also offer parking at their homes. Those who park on area streets are reminded to follow posted signs and normal regulations.The meeting begins at 11 a.m.Before and after the meeting, the Packers are also encouraging shareholders to register for a shareholder identification card, which can be obtained from a shareholder services representative at the Miller Lite Gate, Oneida Nation Gate and the Lambeau Field Atrium.The atrium is open only to shareholders with tickets until 2 p.m., when it opens to the general public.The Packers are also providing a webcast of the meeting for those who cannot attend. The password-protected feed will be available on the shareholders section of the Packers' website.
