The Green Bay Packers bolstered their pass defense during Saturday's sixth round of the NFL Draft when they selected Baylor cornerback Demetri Goodson with the 197th overall pick.Goodson, 6 feet, 200 pounds, had three interceptions last season, including one of No. 3 overall pick Blake Bortles in the Fiesta Bowl. Goodson was named honorable mention all-Big 12 last season, when he had 26 tackles and 16 pass breakups. Before arriving at Baylor, Goodson played three seasons of basketball for Gonzaga, where he started 68 of 69 games in his last two seasons. He started at point guard in Gonzaga's 68-64 upset win over then-No. 9 Baylor in December 2010. He compiled 529 career points and 206 career assists. Overall, Goodson played three years of college football and three years of college basketball. He will turn 25 on June 11.Goodson's brother, Mike, played running back for Carolina, Oakland and the New York Jets.
