(WLUK) -- The Wisconsin Badgers will face off against former Green Bay Preble and UW-Green Bay star Tony Bennett and his Virginia Cavaliers on the first night of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

The game at Charlottesville, Virginia, is scheduled for Nov. 27. Tipoff time has not been announced.

The Badgers are coming off a second-place finish in the Big Ten and advanced to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet Sixteen earlier this year.

Virginia finished sixth in the ACC and made the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2016-17.

Bennett has coached the Cavaliers since 2009 after a stint at Washington State where he was an assistant under his father, Dick, before taking over. Prior to that, Bennett was an assistant coach at Wisconsin under Dick, who coached the Badgers from 1995-2000.

Wisconsin is 2-2 all-time against Virginia. In the teams' last meeting, the Badgers won 48-38 on Dec. 4, 2013, in Charlottesville.
