UWO men's hoops headed to the Final Four

ROCK ISLAND, ILL. (WLUK) - The UW-Oshkosh Titans needed overtime to do it, but advanced to the first NCAA Division 3 men's basketball final four in program history with a 95-88 win against Augustana.

The game was tied at 76-76 after regulation. UWO outscored the Vikings 19-12 in the extra session.

Ben Boots led the Titans with a career-high 36 points, while Brett Wittchow added 19.

In the other national quarterfinal games:
Ramapo defeated MIT, 68-66,
Springfield beat Swarthmore, 74-62, and
Nebraska Wesleyan defeated Whitman, 130-97.

The NCAA Division III Final Four will be held in Salem, Virginia with the semifinals taking place on March 16th. The NCAA Division III National Championship game will be played on March 17th.

UW-Oshkosh faces Ramapo in a national semifinal game.
