OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- Groundbreaking has been set for a new arena in Oshkosh.

Fox Valley Professional Basketball says a ceremony will be held from 3-4 p.m. March 29 at the site of the new arena. The Oshkosh Arena is being built at the corner of S. Main Street and W. South Park Avenue, the former site of The Buckstaff Company.

The arena will be home to a Milwaukee Bucks affiliate in the NBA Development League. The league will change its name to the Gatorade League by the time the Oshkosh team takes the floor next winter.

According to the arena's website, it will have 3,500 seats on the main floor, a second level with 250-300 seats and a 180-person club area.

It is being built with private money.
