Alec Brown selected by Phoenix Suns

NEW YORK – The Phoenix Suns selected former Green Bay Phoenix standout Alec Brown with the 50th overall selection in the NBA draft, the 20th pick of the second round.

The 7'1" center becomes the first Green Bay Phoenix basketball player since Jeff Nordgaard in 1996 to be picked in the draft.

Brown averaged 15.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game during his senior season.
