MILWAUKEE (WLUK) -- Milwaukee Brewers fans are partying like it's 1982 this weekend.

The team is hosting a reunion weekend for members of the American League championship ballclub. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Brewers' first -- and so far, only -- appearance in the World Series.

Cecil Cooper, Robin Yount, Rollie Fingers and Gorman Thomas kicked off the weekend with a news conference at Miller Park. Players will be honored in an on-field ceremony before Saturday night's game.
