Scott Hurley is an Internet Producer and Reporter for FOX 11 News and fox11online.com. His fox11online.com Web Watch appears on Good Day Wisconsin.
Scott has been with FOX 11 since 2004. For three years, Scott was a reporter in FOX 11's Valley Newsroom, near his hometown of Kimberly. In the Fox Valley, Scott covered everything from Presidential visits to the annual EAA AirVenture. Working in Fox Valley media is something of a tradition in Scott's family, since his grandfather worked in the photgraphy department of The Post-Crescent for more than 40 years.
In 2007, Scott took the opportunity to join the fox11online.com team, where he helps decide what news you see on the website every day.
Scott began his journalism career at FOX 11 in 2001, when he worked as a videotape editor. Scott has also worked at WAOW-TV in Wausau and WRPQ-TV/Radio in Baraboo.
Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Communication Arts and Spanish. He played lead trumpet in the UW Marching Band, and got to perform in places like the Rose Bowl, the National Mall in Washington, D.C., The NCAA Final Four and, of course, Lambeau Field.
