MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Wisconsin man convicted of four felonies in connection with a February home invasion and assault of a couple will likely be sentenced in two months.Eric D. Bass, 24, of Madison faces up to 40 years of combined prison time and extended supervision on each of two robbery charges and up to 60 years on each of two sexual assault charges, the Wisconsin State Journal reported. Assistant District Attorney Matthew Moeser said there is no sentencing recommendation as part of Bass' plea agreement.Bass and three other men mistakenly entered a home owned by a sleeping couple on Feb. 23 on Madison's east side. The men meant to break into the home of a neighbor who they thought had a large sum of cash.The man was beaten and his wife, who was six months pregnant, was repeatedly sexually assaulted. The four men then took off with electronics and credit cards.Bass pleaded no contest Aug. 6 to conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and two counts of being a party to first-degree sexual assault.Last month, Michon A. Thomas, 23, pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of armed robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Kristopher J. Hughes, 20, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, substantial battery and identity theft.DeAndrae L. Mayweathers, 23, who drove the getaway vehicle, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery and being a party to armed robbery.Two other people were convicted at the end of July for their involvement in the robbery plot. Efemia A. Neumaier, 21, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery. She told the men they would find more than $1,500 in the home of the intended target, whom she was dating. According to the criminal complaint, Neumaier's boyfriend discovered Facebook messages she had sent to Thomas about their plans to rob him. Demarco D. Mallit, 22, whose apartment was used to plan the robbery, pleaded guilty to aiding a felon and felony theft.Sentencing for Mayweathers and Thomas is scheduled for Sept. 25, and has yet to be scheduled for the four others involved.
