Packers player and wife become spokespeople for Wisconsin CASA
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A Packers player and his wife are making a difference in the lives of children.
Corey Linsley and his wife Anna are the state spokespeople for the Wisconsin CASA Association.
A court appointed special advocate or CASA is a specially trained volunteer who works with children in the court system.
At times, the children are in foster care due to neglect or abuse.
The Linsley's encourage others to join them, and become a CASA.
The Wisconsin CASA Association says more than 6,000 children needed advocates in 2016 but because of a lack of volunteers, fewer than 700 were helped.
