Green Bay - A fourth of July food drive is making a difference for pantries and hungry children.
Non-perishable food items were collected at the Brown County courthouse in memory of a boy who died seven years ago in an A-T-V incident.
Ben Delain's parents have since created Ben's Wish.
Friday's event held special meaning for the family because it's how the group started in 2009.
Ben's father says Christmas isn't the only time people can donate food.
"We collect food to help out the pantries during the peak time. Everybody always thinks that November or christmas time, give to the pantries then. That's great. But the summer time is a high need time as well.," Peter Dalain, Ben's Father.
The donations will go to 26 food pantries.
