GREEN BAY - UW-Green Bay received a grant that allows students to gain real work experience while getting paid.

UW-Green Bay's Center for public Affairs (CFPA) and Environmental Management and Business Institute (EMBI) received their second $150,000 Career Ready Internship Initiative from Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation.

The grant will be used to create new paid internships and turn unpaid internships into paid internships, for juniors and seniors who don't receive enough financial aid to cover college costs.

Any Northeastern Wisconsin business that wishes to participate in the internship program should contact Ashley Heath, (920) 465-2608, or John Arendt, (920) 465-2953, for more information.
